Solar capacity in the Czech Republic will soon reach 5 thousand megawatts

Interest in solar power plants is still very high in the Czech Republic. According to data from the Ministry of the Environment, the consumption of electricity generated from sources built with the help of state subsidies will reach values that would completely cover the consumption of 275,000 households by 1 January 2024. A solar power plant on the roof of a family house brings an average saving of CZK 32 000 per year. That is an average monthly salary. For this reason, too, the subsidy packages are constantly being increased. According to the ministry's statistics, thanks to new projects, together with existing photovoltaic plants built in the past 17 years, we could still have almost 5,000 megawatts of solar capacity in the Czech Republic before 2025.

But there is no need to wait. The funds from the sale of emission allowances, from which most of the decarbonisation subsidies come, must be exhausted by 2030. What the next European strategy in this direction will be is not yet certain. This is therefore an ideal time to implement solar projects.

Nanosun is committed to bringing solar energy as close to the people as possible to help ensure a clean environment for all. We do this by offering very reasonable prices and excellent service to our customers, by bringing hot new developments in solar technology and by introducing them to the general public at a number of events. You can already get acquainted with the unique Smartflower solar power plant at the Roof-Solar-Craft fair in Prague on February 15. This power plant does not need a roof, just a small space in your garden. Visit us at stand 416 in Hall 4. We look forward to seeing you!
