How did the annual Aurum 1006 km race go? One of the most famous races, held in Lithuania near the city of Alytus. This year nanosun decided to support this event again and we became the main partner. Thanks to good relations and mutual support, the team decided to include us in their name. The original "Tarzanija Racing Team" became "nanosun by Tarzanija Racing Team". Team leader Mindaugas Aldonis and driver Karolis Bledis didn't disappoint us this year either and delivered an admirable performance!

On Thursday, a parade of participants of the Aurum 1006 km race took place in Vytautas Street in Palanga. It was topped off by the traditional Dynamit Super Sprint race where a 100-meter course is prepared, which must be completed as fast as possible. At the finish line, however, a difficult task awaits them, the so-called "meta". The racers must stop at a designated point so that the front wheels cross the time sensors and the rear wheels do not cross them. This was the most difficult task for the participants. Some of them passed the "base", others did not even try to complete it.

Among those who did everything according to the rules, the fastest team was nanosun by Tarzanija Racing! The key to victory here was their Audi S4 with all-wheel drive. The team's driver completed the course in 4.57 seconds. Second place went to the TDS group-TOKS Racing Team with their Porsche 911 GT3 CUP. The third place award went to the Porsche Baltic 91 team. Their sprint time was 4.80 seconds.

After the sprint race, all the drivers moved to the 1006 km long main race track on Thursday afternoon to practice. This is the only opportunity to see the drivers and their machines up close on the track this weekend. The turnout was great, with crowds of spectators watching all the teams take to the podium. In total, 23 teams are participating this year. You can see cars from Audi, Porsche, Mercedes and Lamborghini.

On Friday, the teams had qualifying and on Saturday the Aurum 1006 km Grand Prix!
